Sesli Textile’s partnered with Momentum to keep runners warm at the early start of the Momentum Cape Times Knysna Forest Marathon, as well as keep the local communities warm afterwards.
Sesli Textile’s had sponsored 1000 blankets, which was matched by Momentum with a further 1000 blankets. The donated blankets were handed out to runners at the start and then collected for distribution to the local charity, FAMSA (Families South Africa). FAMSA helps communities in Knysa and Plettenberg Bay, by offering counselling, skills training and support for families in need.
The Momentum Cape Times Knysa Forest Marathon, took Saturday 12 July and forms part of the Pick n’ Pay Knysa Oyster Festival, which was between the 4 and 13 of July 2014.
